2. Purpose of this Notice
Krinex Clinical uses AI-assisted technology as part of a human-reviewed clinical intelligence workflow.
This Notice explains where AI may be used, what it may assist with, what it does not replace, and where human oversight remains.
3. Where AI may assist
Depending on the case and available information, AI-assisted tools may help:
- extract information from intake forms and medical documents;
- organize medical information into structured clinical context;
- reconstruct chronology and relationships between records;
- identify potentially relevant findings, gaps, contradictions or uncertainty;
- surface safety signals for human attention;
- prepare summaries or structured information for clinician review;
- support evidence organization and decision-specific case preparation.
The exact functions used may vary according to workflow and case type.
4. What AI does not replace
AI-assisted processing does not replace:
- emergency medical assessment;
- physical examination;
- diagnostic testing that requires direct clinical evaluation;
- the professional judgment of an authorized clinician;
- the clinician’s responsibility to verify information that is material to a decision;
- the patient’s treating healthcare team.
5. Human oversight
Krinex Clinical is designed so that clinical authority remains with authorized human reviewers.
AI-assisted output may be reviewed, corrected, rejected or supplemented.
Clinicians may request additional documents or information where the available evidence is incomplete, conflicting, uncertain or unreliable.
Final clinical interpretation, suitability assessment, recommendations and approval remain human responsibilities within the relevant clinical workflow.
6. Limitations
AI-assisted processing can be affected by:
- incomplete or inaccurate information;
- poor-quality, cropped, translated or illegible documents;
- conflicting records;
- missing clinical context;
- model, extraction or interpretation errors;
- uncertainty that cannot be resolved from the submitted information.
Krinex Clinical is designed to preserve clinically relevant uncertainty and verification requirements rather than treating every AI-assisted output as established fact.
7. Your information
AI-assisted processing may involve personal and health information submitted to Krinex Clinical.
Processing of that information is governed by the Privacy & Health Data Notice and applicable data-protection requirements.
Contracted technology providers may support AI-assisted processing under appropriate service, confidentiality and data-protection arrangements.
8. No solely automated final medical decision
Krinex Clinical supports information preparation and clinician-led review.
It is not designed to issue a solely automated final medical decision about a patient without meaningful human involvement.
9. Questions or concerns
